This will be the photo album for everything firewall forward on my Cub project. The rebuild of my newly acquired O-360-A1A will kick things off.

This won't be a step by step overhaul guide on my part. Just a brief look into my encounters as we rebuild my engine and get my Cub firewall forward ready.

There are some great sites online that show an O-360 assembly.  I purchased the Lycoming overhaul manual and O-360 parts catalog.  If you are good with web searches, you can find these for download on the web for free.  I also recommend you visit Superior's Vantage (XP-360) engine web site. They have their overhaul manual for free download.

Project Status: 11/18/2008 - Engine is fully assembled and ready to install.  Exhaust is purchased (Customaircraft.com) and ready to install.
